Each year, the Reading and Writing Project offers a series of one-day conferences called "Calendar Conference Days" for teachers and administrators.
Conference days for teachers usually run from 9:00am - 2:30pm at Teachers College. Topics covered include reading, writing, phonics, content area literacy, database assessments and so forth. The days are tailored to specific grade levels, K-8, and are staffed by Project leaders as well as national literacy leaders. Over 150 days are offered each year.
